As for the primary type distribution, we visualized them in the below normalized stack bar chart. If user mouse over a certain bar, a tooltip will show the generation, type and population information.
According to the chart, besides the primary type distribution , users are also inform of when a certain primary type is introduced. For example, “Flying” is firstly introduced in fifth generation.
Compare different Pokémon based on their stats
In addition, we created a tool to help compare different Pokémon based on their stats. This radar chart allows you to view Pokémon as profiles. In general the bigger the profile, the stronger the Pokémon. You can search for any Pokémon using the search bar and add it to your chart.
Heavier Pokémon seems to be stronger. How do they perform in the game?
There are more heavy Pokémon in recent generations. Most of the heavy Pokémon are in generation 7 (orange bubbles). Most of the light Pokémon are in generation 1 (blue bubbles).
